Swansea City head coach Michael Duff says incoming signing Harrison Ashby comes with a “really positive character reference” from Newcastle and England full-back Kieran Trippier.
Right wing-back Ashby underwent a medical with the Swans on Monday and the club hope to have him available for Saturday’s opening match against Birmingham City.
